Michelle Obama Will be Awesome and Admirable First Woman!!

One of the real benefits we will get when we elect Barack Obama next week is that we will get the energy, experience and enthusiasm of his wife Michelle. I have watched her give speeches and grant interviews over the past year.  I have also collected some of the best print articles and interviews for your information and inspiration.  Michelle clearly embodies the modern American woman better than any of the other women in the news (i.e., Cindy McCain and Sarah Palin.)

Read about how she is able to keep their children at the center of her world, while helping here husband stay focused and strong!!  As a sociology professor I am particularly impressed with the original sociological research she conducted to receive her undergraduate degree from Princeton.  You will learn about her family ties and young influences.  We are so lucky to have her by Barack’s side.  Learn how they met, fell in love and got married!!

Sarah Swears, Spends and Stomps Like a Drunken Sailor

Welcome to another installment of my call to arms for sane and caring people against Sarah Palin.  In this collection you will read about how frightened Alaskans warn that she is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive And Mean.” This is based in part on an open letter called About Sarah Palin by Anne Kilkenny.  To start, check the first hand account of how upon learning that Obama had won over Clinton,  Sarah loudly proclaimed “So Sambo beat the bitch!” Finally is an open letter to Clinton detailing What Hillary Should Say Now.

As I have argued before given his ancient age and torture-induced PTSD McCain Should Buy a Farm, Not Become President.  Now with his tough talk about fighting everyone there is strong evidence that the Republicans are openly and proudly the party of rednecks.  He will die very soon and we would be stuck with a bunch of ruthless rednecks from way up north (and way right!!)  Also, I argued early on (May 25) that Rednecks had Run America for Too Long.  This article also builds further support for the fact that The VP Candidate is a “F#*kin’ Redneck” like all her friends and family.  Very scary information so pass this on to your friends!!   For more positive information and inspiration check out my article about how WISE WOMEN WILL REBALANCE WOUNDED WORLD.

Your Vice President Might Be a Redneck If:

She kills animals for fun, kicks people’s butts, and raises redneck kids.  UPDATE (10/23/08):  Sarah said this week she is “Proud to be a Redneck Woman,” so there is no “Might be” about it (See Parker story at end.) The upcoming presidential election is truly now a full-scale culture war – as rednecks fight to hold back the rising tides of progressives, youth, ethnic minorities, and smart people in general.  I wrote on May 25 about how Rednecks had Run America for Too Long. Now the McCain-Palin Redneck Express boldly attacks our rights.  “Friends Don’t Let Friends Vote for Rednecks.”

VP candidate, Sarah Palin, loves to shoot guns and is proud of being able to field dress a moose (that means to chop it up when still warm after you shoot it.)  She and Cheney should go hunting.  Another story is how the young hockey puck (Levi Johnson) who has impregnated Bristol (the sex pistol) is a self-proclaimed “fuckin’ redneck.” Anyhow, read on for some hot-off-the-foreign press articles and funny pix.  This is going to be the starkest choice in values and vision that the world has seen.   Put the Alaska Hillbillies back in the freezer along with all their unwanted moose stew.

Wise Women Will Rebalance Wounded World

I have written this article to inform, inspire and invigorate women everywhere (and hopefully some of the hipper men. As a lifelong supporter of women’s rights I am excited in all the ways that young women have leapfrogged young men in school, work, and the social sphere. Men now need women more than women need men. As a man I understand and appreciate that there are things that we can do better than women. However, our future depends on re-balancing the male-dominated drive with women’s harmonious approach to life. As always I have included some prime selected pix and quotes that I collected from across the Internet. Hope you like the pix since all were embellished with PhotoShop. Continue reading

Janis Joplin Leads Women to the Truth

I want to pay tribute to an amazing singer; as well as a path-breaking woman. I am going to provide you with insights, information and inspiration from the life and creative legacy of Janis Joplin. In many respects, she will be remembered as a public pioneer in the women’s movement. Her story is a case study of the hippie counterculture.  I hope that you will enjoy this analysis ofand tribute to one of my main spirit guides (along with Jimi Hendrix , John Lennon, and Jim Morrison.)   Her spirit is more alive today then she was at the time of her death. BTW – although she died directly from an accidental overdose of extremely pure heroin; it really was alcohol that killed her (as it did Jim Morrison.)  Be sure and listen to her music and learn her lessons.  Continue reading

What’s Love Got to Do with Valentine’s Day?

Feel like I need to rant a bit about Valentine’s day as a Hallmark and Hershey Holiday. Many people – especially those who are in “committed relationships” – feel pressure to spend money to make their partner feel loved. However, we need to show love to all people all the time. So I want to rant a bit about this capitalist holiday; but really try to tell the bigger story about why “Love is a Beautiful Thing” that grows as we share it. I have included my own selection of the top 40 Love Quotes. Continue reading
