Sarah Swears, Spends and Stomps Like a Drunken Sailor

Welcome to another installment of my call to arms for sane and caring people against Sarah Palin.  In this collection you will read about how frightened Alaskans warn that she is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive And Mean.” This is based in part on an open letter called About Sarah Palin by Anne Kilkenny.  To start, check the first hand account of how upon learning that Obama had won over Clinton,  Sarah loudly proclaimed “So Sambo beat the bitch!” Finally is an open letter to Clinton detailing What Hillary Should Say Now.

As I have argued before given his ancient age and torture-induced PTSD McCain Should Buy a Farm, Not Become President.  Now with his tough talk about fighting everyone there is strong evidence that the Republicans are openly and proudly the party of rednecks.  He will die very soon and we would be stuck with a bunch of ruthless rednecks from way up north (and way right!!)  Also, I argued early on (May 25) that Rednecks had Run America for Too Long.  This article also builds further support for the fact that The VP Candidate is a “F#*kin’ Redneck” like all her friends and family.  Very scary information so pass this on to your friends!!   For more positive information and inspiration check out my article about how WISE WOMEN WILL REBALANCE WOUNDED WORLD.

This first story is an unsettling inside account of how life would be under a VP Palin.  In many respect we would find Cheny to be palin’ in comparison. Where he has been quiet – she would be in our lives.  No way!!  Time to drive the Palin Klan off the edge of an Arctic cliff – like they do to terrified animals.  Friends don’t let friends vote for retarded and racist rednecks!!

Alaskans Speak (In A Frightened Whisper):
Palin Is “Racist, Sexist, Vindictive And Mean.”

“So Sambo beat the bitch!”

This is how Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin described Barack Obama’s win over Hillary Clinton to political colleagues in a restaurant a few days after Obama locked up the Democratic Party presidential nomination.   According to Lucille, the waitress serving her table at the time and who asked that her last name not be used, Gov. Palin was eating lunch with five or six people when the subject of the Democrat’s primary battle came up. The governor, seemingly not caring that people at nearby tables would likely hear her, uttered the slur and then laughed loudly as her meal mates joined in appreciatively.

“It was kind of disgusting,” Lucille, who is part Aboriginal, said in a phone interview.  Then, almost with a sigh, she added, “But that’s just Alaska.”   Racial and ethnic slurs may be “just Alaska” and, clearly, they are common, everyday chatter for Palin.   Besides insulting Obama with a Step-N’-Fetch-It, “darkie musical” swipe, people who know her say she refers regularly to Alaska’s aboriginal people as “Artic Arabs” – how efficient, lumping two apparently undesirable groups into one ugly description – as well as the more colourful “mukluks” along with the totally unimaginative “fucking Eskimo’s,” according to a number of Alaskans and Wasillians interviewed for this article.

But being openly racist is only the tip of the Palin iceberg. According to Alaskans interviewed for this article, she is also vindictive and mean. We’re talking Rove mean and Nixon vindictive.   No wonder the vast sea of white, cheering faces at the Republican Convention went wild for Sarah: They adore the type, it’s in their genetic code. So much for McCain’s pledge of a “high road” campaign; Palin is incapable of being part of one. …

Many people in Alaska, and particularly Wasilla, are reluctant to speak or be quoted by name because they’re afraid of her as well as the state Republican Party machine. Apparently, the power elite are as mean as the winters. “The GOP is kind of like organized crime up here,” an insurance agent in Anchorage who knows the Palin family, explained. “It’s corrupt and arrogant. They’re all rich because they do private sweetheart deals with the oil companies, and they can destroy anyone. And they will, if they have to.  “Once Palin became mayor,” he continued, “She became part of that inner circle.”

To an outsider, it would seem hard to do, but an oil-rich town with zero debt on the day she was inaugurated mayor was left saddled with $22-million of debt by the time she moved away to become governor – especially since nothing was spent on things such as improving the city’s infrastructure or building a much-needed sewage treatment plant. So what did Mayor Palin spend the taxpayer’s money on, if not fixing streets and scrubbing sewage?

For starters, she remodeled her office. Several times over, as a matter of fact. Then Palin spent $1-million on an unnecessary, new park that no one other than the contractors and Palin seemed to want. Next, Sarah doled out more than $15-million of taxpayer money for a sports complex that she shoved through even though the city did not own clear title to the land; now, seven years later, the matter is still in litigation and lawyer fees are said to be close to at least half of the original estimated price of the facility.  She also worked hard to get voters approval of a $5.5-million bond proposal for roads that could have been built without borrowing.

And what did she bring to the job? No legislative experience other than a city council of a village of 5,000 people, which is smaller than some high schools in Chicago. Little hands-on supervisory or managerial experience; after all, she needed to hire a city administrator to run Wasilla. No executive experience, except for almost being recalled as mayor. A philosophy of setting public policy based on one word: No.   And what has she done since winning the job? …

As Governor, Palin gave the legislature no direction and budget guidelines, according to the chair of a legislative committee. But then she staged a huge grandstand play of line-item vetoing countless projects, calling them pork. “They were restored because of public outcry and legislative action,” the aide said. “She vetoed them mostly because she had no idea what they were or why they were important.”

As for being “ready on day one” to be commander in chief, despite the repeated public claims she’s made, the Alaska National Guard commander said that, “she has made no command decisions, other than sending some troops to help fight a few brush fires and march in parades at county fairs.” “Palin is a conniving, manipulative, asshole,” someone who thinks these are positive traits in a governor told me, summing up Palin’s tenure in Alaska state and local politics.

“She’s a bigot, a racist and a liar,” is the more blunt assessment of Arnold Gerstheimer who lived in Alaska until two years ago and is now a businessman in Idaho.   “Juneau is a small town, everybody knows everyone else,” he adds. “These stories about what she calls blacks and Eskimos, well, anyone not white and good looking actually, were around long before she became a glint in John McCain’s rheumy eyes. Why do I know they’re true? Because everyone who isn’t aboriginal or Indian in Alaska talks that way.”

“Sambo beat the bitch” may be everyday language up in the bush. Whether it – and the outlook, politics and worldview Palin reflects when she says such things in public – should be part of a presidential campaign is another thing altogether. The comment says as much about McCain as it does about Palin, and it says a lot of things about Americans who overlook such statements (as well as her record) and vote anyway for McCain.

Here is much of the orginal letter that Anne Kilkenny posted out of civic duty and the desire to warn the world.  You can read all about this brave woman and her motivations further on down the screen.  She also shatters many of the emerging myths about this scary-redneck-nutjob!!

About Sarah Palin by Anne Kilkenny – September 3, 2008

I am a resident of Wasilla, Alaska. I have known Sarah since 1992. Everyone here knows Sarah, so it is nothing special to say we are on a first-name basis. Our children have attended the same schools. Her father was my child’s favorite substitute teacher. I also am on a first name basis with her parents and mother-in-law. I attended more City Council meetings during her administration than about 99% of the residents of the city.

She is enormously popular; in every way she’s like the most popular girl in middle school. Even men who think she is a poor choice and won’t vote for her can’t quit smiling when talking about her because she is a “babe.” It is astonishing and almost scary how well she can keep a secret. She kept her most recent pregnancy a secret from her children and parents for seven months.

Her husband works a union job on the North Slope for BP and is a champion snowmobile racer. Todd Palin’s kind of job is highly sought-after because of the schedule and high pay. He arranges his work schedule so he can fish for salmon in Bristol Bay for a month or so in summer, but by no stretch of the imagination is fishing their major source of income. Nor has her life-style ever been anything like that of native Alaskans.

During her mayoral administration most of the actual work of running this small city was turned over to an administrator. She had been pushed to hire this administrator by party power-brokers after she had gotten herself into some trouble over precipitous firings which had given rise to a recall campaign.

She’s not very tolerant of divergent opinions or open to outside ideas or compromise. As Mayor, she fought ideas that weren’t generated by her or her staff. Ideas weren’t evaluated on their merits, but on the basis of who proposed them.  While Sarah was Mayor of Wasilla she tried to fire our highly respected City Librarian because the Librarian refused to consider removing from the library some books that Sarah wanted removed. City residents rallied to the defense of the City Librarian and against Palin’s attempt at out-and-out censorship, so Palin backed down and withdrew her termination letter. People who fought her attempt to oust the Librarian are on her enemies list to this day.

Sarah complained about the “old boy’s club” when she first ran for Mayor, so what did she bring Wasilla? A new set of “old boys”. Palin fired most of the experienced staff she inherited. At the City and as Governor she hired or elevated new, inexperienced, obscure people, creating a staff totally dependent on her for their jobs and eternally grateful and fiercely loyal–loyal to the point of abusing their power to further her personal agenda.  As Mayor, Sarah fired Wasilla’s Police Chief because he “intimidated” her, she told the press.  ….

Around Wasilla there are people who went to high school with Sarah. They call her “Sarah Barracuda” because of her unbridled ambition and predatory ruthlessness. Before she became so powerful, very ugly stories circulated around town about shenanigans she pulled to be made point guard on the high school basketball team.

As Governor, she stepped outside of the box and put together of package of legislation known as “AGIA” that forced the oil companies to march to the beat of her drum.  Like most Alaskans, she favors drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. She has questioned if the loss of sea ice is linked to global warming. She campaigned “as a private citizen” against a state initiative that would have either a) protected salmon streams from pollution from mines, or b) tied up in the courts all mining in the state (depending on who you listen to). She has pushed the State’s lawsuit against the Dept. of the Interior’s decision to list polar bears as threatened species.

Claim versus Fact:

  • “Hockey mom”: true for a few years, no longer
  • “PTA mom”: true years ago when first-born was in elementary school, not since
  • “NRA supporter”: absolutely true
  • Pro-creationism: mixed. Supports it, BUT did nothing as Governor to promote it.
  • “Pro-life”: declined to call a special legislative session on some pro-life legislation
  • Political maverick: not at all
  • A “Greenie”: Hardly. Turned Wasilla into a wasteland of big box stores and disconnected parking lots. Is pro-drilling off-shore and in ANWR. (See above)
  • Pro-infrastructure: No. Promoted a sports complex and park in a town without a sewage plant or storm drainage. Built streets to early 20th century standards.
  • Pro-tax relief: Lowered taxes for businesses, increased tax burden on residents
  • Pro-small government: No. Oversaw greatest expansion of city government in Wasilla’s history.
  • “Experienced”: Some high schools have more students than Wasilla has residents. Many cities have more residents than the state of Alaska. No legislative experience other than City Council. Little hands-on supervisory or managerial experience; needed help of a city administrator to run town of about 5,000.

Why Am I (Anne Kilkenny) Writing This?

  • First, I have long believed in the importance of being an informed voter. I am a voter registrar. For 10 years I put on student voting programs in the schools. If you google my name (Anne Kilkenny + Alaska), you will find references to my participation in local government, education, and PTA/parent organizations.
  • Secondly, I’ve always operated in the belief that “Bad things happen when good people stay silent”. Few people know as much as I do because few have gone to as many City Council meetings.
  • Third, I am just a housewife. I don’t have a job she can bump me out of. I don’t belong to any organization that she can hurt. But, I am no fool; she is immensely popular here, and it is likely that this will cost me somehow in the future: that’s life.
  • Fourth, she has hated me since back in 1996, when I was one of over 100 people who rallied to support the City Librarian against Sarah’s attempt at censorship.
  • Fifth, I looked around and realized that everybody else was afraid to say anything because they were somehow vulnerable.

What Hillary Should Say Now by Patti Davis in NEWSWEEK
An open letter to the almost-nominee.

Sep 5, 2008
Dear Hillary,

Where are you? We haven’t heard from you since your strong and eloquent speech at the Democratic National Convention. You might be taking a well-deserved vacation–certainly you must need one after all those arduous months campaigning. But we need to hear from you right now. We need your voice to speak for all the women (and there are many of us) who are angry at the assumption that, just because Sarah Palin is female, we will fall in line behind her.

We need you to make clear that women do not automatically judge someone because of gender; we are more concerned with the quality of their character and the depth and breadth of their experience.

We do not see rudeness and snarkiness and sarcasm as admirable; in fact, most women teach their children not to treat others in that manner, and they tend to steer clear of adults who never learned that lesson.

We respect the right of other women to raise and educate their children the way they see fit. We also respect their right to make their own child-bearing decisions with no interference from the rest of us. We ask for that same respect in return. We don’t want the government in our homes or our wombs. It is, in the simplest sense, a respect for privacy, a word vehemently used by the Republican Party in reference to Sarah Palin’s family. But it’s not just families in the public eye who deserve privacy; we all do.

There are many definitions of toughness. Most women would probably define it as meeting the daily challenges of raising a family in an increasingly treacherous world. They would think about the nights with no sleep sitting up with a sick child, or a race to the emergency room with a child in pain. Most would not define toughness as the ability and willingness to shoot and kill an animal. Nor are they impressed by seeing a woman brandishing an assault weapon, or sitting on her couch with the skin and head of a dead grizzly bear behind her.

Make your point painlessly and properly!!

Make your point painlessly and properly!!

Hillary, you have a more prominent voice than the rest of us. We need to hear your voice reminding people that women are smart and perceptive, and perfectly capable of doing research on a candidate who chose to be snippy rather than informative about her political record.

Many of us are frightened about the future of this country. You once said, with tears in your eyes, that running for president was very personal to you–that where America goes from here was deeply personal. It’s personal to us also. Please help us communicate that putting a woman on a presidential ticket is only a good thing if it’s the right woman.

Certainly, those of us who watched the Republican convention saw a woman who knows how to throw zingers. But few of us, if any, were encouraged by that. America is in trouble. We need hope, we need solutions, we need dignified, compassionate leadership. If we want zingers we’ll turn on Comedy Central.

Women who are waiting to hear from you

Hey doc, hope your stash doesn’t run out on you. You’ll need that ongoing train to lotus land when our country is bankrupt and you need help escaping harsh reality.

  4. I like the efforts you have put in this, appreciate it for all the great posts .

Your picture (the 1st one) is a PHOTOSHOPPED pic of a girl with a BB GUN! Palin’s face is shopped on to that body (you can see this if you zoom up by the tree leaves). Do you really think she would be holding a freaking BB GUN? You liberals are pathetic.

By the way, that OTHER picture of her with a AR-15 looking rifle is a SIMULATOR gun (you can see the electric cables coming out of it) used by the US Army to train troops.
